Neala Rafizadeh, MD, is a board-certified New York City psychiatrist with a collaborative and holistic treatment approach.

Dr. Rafizadeh maintains a private practice in the NoMad area of Manhattan. Prior to running her  full time private practice, she worked as the Assistant Director of Columbia University Medical Center’s inpatient psychiatric unit, 9 Garden North. Her training includes a bachelor’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, medical degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and a psychiatry residency at the New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center where she was chief resident.  She has taught and supervised at the New York State Psychiatric Institute and the Columbia University Medical Center as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry.  Dr. Rafizadeh is also a certified yoga teacher, incorporating meditation and breathing techniques into treatment programs as needed.
